Episode | Desert Cancer Foundation

On this episode, Toni is joined by Executive Director of Desert Cancer Foundation, Sarah Bryant. Desert Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting residents of the Coachella Valley and surrounding communities who need financial assistance in obtaining screening, diagnosis and treatment for cancer and allied diseases. Episode | Academy of Musical Performance

On this episode, Toni is joined by Executive Director of the Academy of Musical Performance, Will Sturgeon. AMP is a contemporary music education  program whose goal is to enrich the lives of young musicians living in the Coachella Valley by fostering productivity and social responsibility through creativity, communication and collaboration in the development and enhancement of musical performance and concert production skills through participation in a “rock band” style education setting. Episode: GirlFriend Factor

On this episode, Toni is joined by Advisory Board member of GirlFriend Factor, Kate Spates. GirlFriend Factor supports local women with educational grants and lots of emotional support. To date they have assisted over 147 local women and currently they are supporting 28 adult women as they pursue higher education at educational institutions around the Coachella Valley. On this episode, Toni is joined by Community Relations Coordinator for Martha’s Village and Kitchen, Erica Siqueiros. Martha’s is a safe, welcoming environment for impoverished and homeless families, children and individuals, providing a proven robust selection of housing, education and support services so that they are empowered to transform their lives with dignity. Martha’s collaborates and partners with other organizations and agencies to leverage resources and fill gaps to ensure the effectiveness and long-term sustainability of the organization and to break the cycle of poverty for the people they serve. Episode: Mama's House and The Hope Center

On this episode, Toni is joined by Director of Mama’s House and the Hope Center, Christina Saldivar. Mama’s House is a non-profit organization that’s aim is to help women who face unplanned pregnancy and would like assistance in carrying the baby or going through the adoption process. Mama’s House is a safe and nurturing environment for women in crisis pregnancies. They also provide the Hope Center for educational and counseling extension of Mama’s House which gives services to the residents of Mama’s House and offer outreach services to the community. Episode: Million Kids

On this episode, Toni is joined by President and CEO of Million Kids, Opal Singleton. Million Kids works with local law enforcement and concerned citizens, businesses, and organizations to end human trafficking domestically. Locally, they serve on the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT). Million Kids help activists and communities develop effective anti-trafficking programs in their locales. They educate and engage individuals, organizations and corporations about human trafficking. Internationally, they conduct programs and work with partners to serve rescued children and to create prevention strategies. ​Episode: Shelter From the Storm

On this episode, Toni is joined by Executive Director of Shelter From The Storm, Angelina Coe. Shelter From The Storm, Inc. (SFTS) is the Coachella Valley’s only comprehensive domestic victim assistance service and shelter provider organization.  Their purpose is to provide support, prevent violence, and promote justice for victims of crime and abuse, their families and communities.  Shelter From The Storm’s first priority is the safety of those who seek assistance.
